![]() ![]() example watching high definition online videos, etc.īut this laptop is defective, the fan turns on when it goes online. the fan should only turn on automatically when the cpu gets hot from a lot of power hungry apps and softwares. I also have the same issue with the fan, which is not normal. besides, the price i paid was a ridiculous US$1150. I went to the local hp service center and they claim my warranty has expired on 3-22-2016 which is ridiculous because i bought the laptop on april 2016. Ive used laptops for many years and normally you can plug it in while using the laptop but my newly bought refurbished hp spectre x360 overheats and shuts down after plugging in for just a few seconds or minutes. I figured since I was buying refurbished all the problems would be worked out but it doesn't seem to be that way. Even when placed on a table for exaple using the touch screen can be quite annoying as it tends to bounce around on my every touch. ![]() My last question/problem that I'm experiencing is with the hinge itself, it seems very loose in that whenever I lightly place the laptop on my lap the screen simply falls down it doesn't seem to have any rigidness to it. I don't know if that's a malfunction in the fan itself or that's just how it runs. I have noticed there seems to be a dead pixel on the screen as well, is there anything I can do about that?Īnd then for some reason the fan is running considerably loud, louder than my old dv6 that have running right next to it. Nothing major, certainly something I can live with but I was just curious. There are a couple knicks on the sides and small dents on the underside. I understand it's a used device but are any sort of dents/scratches covered under the warranty? There are a couple scratches on the screen which you can't really notice when the screen's on but when it's off you can easily see them. I have just recieved the HP Spectre X360 13-4003DX purchased from Īnd I wanted to ask a few questions about what kind of things are covered in the Refurbished 90 day HP warranty.
